Fell in love with Hoi An

Hoi An in Vietnam

The first time I set foot on Vietnam was in 2022.

The gateway to the plane was Da Nang, but my destination was Hoi An.

In a word, I fell in love.

Of course, not to people, but to the city.

it was just beautiful

The colorful lanterns shining brightly and floating on the Hoi An river were simply captivating.

Countless small boats carrying lanterns and passengers are floating on the river.

All of the riverside shops are very lively and combine Asian and European culture.

I was watching them from Hoi An's famous pier.

This is a place with a lot of tourists so it's actually a bit noisy, but the scenery spreading out in front of me is successfully canceled them out.

There must have been silence all around me.

Everything I saw and all the time was passing slowly.

At least for me.
